The BGD Young Voices program empowers tomorrow's leaders to engage with today's decision-makers from business, politics, and academia. After a successful launch last year, Berlin Global Dialogue is excited to welcome its second cohort!
The BGD Young Voices Cohort of 2024 consists of outstanding students from the renowned GNAM network, carefully chosen by the Berlin Global Dialogue team at ESMT Berlin.
"Berlin Global Dialogue's mission is to promote conversation between different industries, between different countries — and between different generations. We are thrilled to welcome this year's Young Voices and give them a seat at the table," says Lars-Hendrik Röller, founder and chair of Berlin Global Dialogue.
Young Voices attend the annual Berlin Global Dialogue summit as regular participants, with full access to sessions and side events. This allows them to fully immerse themselves in the conference program. In addition, they participate in a specifically curated curriculum designed to enhance their experience.
Nothando Adu-Gyamfi, an MBA student from the University of Cape Town, shares why she decided to join the BGD Young Voices program. She says, "My motivation to join the BGD Young Voices program stems from a strong belief in the power of collaboration between the public and private sectors to address global challenges. The program's focus on inclusivity and diversity aligns with my passion for ensuring that all voices, especially those from historically marginalized communities, are heard".
Jörg Rocholl, president of ESMT, comments, "We are delighted to introduce the BGD Young Voices Cohort of 2024. This initiative embodies our commitment to fostering environments where young leaders are essential contributors to global conversations. The diversity and talent within this group are extraordinary, and we eagerly anticipate the insights they will bring to our community and the broader global dialogue."
